Planète Social Prize
Jean-Rémi Cognard's book The Employment Contracts of Professional Athletes and E-athletes (ed. Juris . Dalloz, Feb. 2022) received the prize for social law book of the year 2022 awarded by the think-tank Social Planet. Course within the Master 2 sports law of Lille
In November 2022, Jean-Rémi Cognard gave a one-day course to students of the Master 2 in business law, specialized in sports law , from the University of Lille directed by Mathieu Le Bescond de Coatpont. After a theoretical morning devoted to the study of the image rights of athletes, the students were able to put their knowledge into practice by negotiating a federal image rights charter and by simulating a trial combining the rights of the organizer, law of personality attributes and parasitism.
Manon Corre joins Cognard Avocat as an apprentice
Manon Corre, student in the master 2 of business law, specialized in sports law, from the University of Lille, will work at the firm as an apprentice from September 2022 to August 2023, while taking the master 2 courses alternately.

Launch of the Right to Sport podcast
Cognard Avocat is pleased to inform you of the creation of the podcast "Droit au Sport" entirely devoted to sports law. Each month, Jean-Rémi Cognard will shed light on sports news from a legal perspective. Renewal of the term of chairman of the LNH Legal Committee
The steering committee of the National Handball League has renewed the mandate of Jean-Rémi Cognard as chairman of the legal commission until June 30, 2025.

Sports law and economics (Limoges) - March 2022 lesson

M2 lesson in sports law at University of Lille
In February 2022, Jean-Rémi Cognard gave a day of lessons devoted to the image of athletes within the Master 2 in business law, sports law course directed by Mr. Mathieu Le Bescond de Coatpont. After completing his academic studies at the Magistère of Business Law, Taxation, Accounting at Aix-en-Provence University in a dual program with the 2nd year of Master’s Degree in Corporate Taxation. Xavier is continuing his training at the Haute École des Avocats Conseils (HEDAC). He will complete his final internship and at the firm until the end of the first semester of 2022.

Conférence at the Roubaix Vélodrome (21 mai 2021)
On May 21, Jean-Rémi Cognard participated in the annual conference organized by the Master in Sports Law of the University of Lille. The theme of the conference was "Ambush marketing in sports" and Jean-Rémi Cognard's presentation was on "The judicial implementation of the repression of ambush marketing".

Seminar in Sports law and economics Master (Limoges)
In May, Jean-Rémi Cognard had the pleasure of providing a training session on the commercial agreements signed by sports federations to the students of the Sports Law and Economics Master of Limoges University.
